Abdul Khader (7th April 1927 – 16 January 1989), better known by his stage name Prem Nazir, was an Indian film actor best known for his work in Malayalam cinema. He is considered as one of the all time super stars in Malayalam cinema. He is referred to as the Nithya Haritha Nayakan (Ever Green Hero) of Malayalam cinema. Conferred with Pudmabhushan Award, Prem Nazir holds multiple Guinness book records for one who acted in more than 500 movies as the lead actor and the one who acted in maximum number of movies with the same leading lady.

The Foundation elebrated the 90th birthday of Late Padmabhooshan Prem Nazir on the 7th April 2017 at Nishagandhi Auditorium, Trivandrum, with a variety of programs. Programs with charity works such as medical camps at Marad, Calicut and Trivandrum, blood donation drive, assistance for needy, Prem Smrithi on every 16th Jan, quiz programs, painting competition, social and cultural activities like waste management, Sramadanam etc., and a drive for a place and a memorial building for Prem Nazir are also been taken up by Foundation.

Prem Nazir Foundation has published a memorial about the amazing and evergreen hero Prem Nazir by the name of Nityaharitham in 2019. Composed with articles from his colleagues, friends, family members, social and cultural fineries, this memorial will be an authoritative collection of records which sheds light to Prem Nazir, the actor and the human. Covering his life history, creative ingenuity, unknown facts and enriched with rare photographs, the memorial will be resourceful and collectible for cine lovers and students of cinema alike.
